Zuzana Drhová

Urban Innovations

Zuzana Drhová, Ph.D. works at the Prague Innovation Institute as Deputy Director with responsibility for the development of urban innovations. She led the preparation of the Circular Prague 2030 Strategy and is responsible for the innovation platform of the city. Previously, she worked at the Ministry of Regional Development as a Smart Cities Methodologist, as an EU Cohesion Policy Expert at the Government Agency for Social Inclusion and Regional Development and as a Research Fellow at the UK Centre for Social and Economic Strategies.

She has long been involved in sustainable urban development, including as an opposition municipal politician and MA21 expert. She works externally with the Department of Public and Social Policy at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Charles University in the field of sustainable development and environmental policy. In the 1990s, she worked for the association of environmental organisations known as “Green Circle”, which she also led for several years.
