Marie Peksová

She is specialised in the arts, culture, creative industries or tourism where she has been working for more than 7 years. For the Capital City of Prague, within the framework of her work for the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipal Authority of the Capital City of Prague, she participated in the project of the new Prague Visitor Pass tourist card, coordinated the establishment of a new organisation (the registered institute “Creative Prague”), acted as secretary of the grant system of the Capital City of Prague in the field of culture and art and prepared a new grant system with a view to 2027. She actively represented the Capital City of Prague within the framework of the Cultural Forum of the Eurocities organisation and was a member of the Public Art work group with a focus on Art in Public Space.

Since the beginning of March 2021, she has been involved in the creation and formation of the new Department of Cultural and Creative Industries at the Ministry of Culture. Her main focus has been on unifying the approach of individual actors to the sector, setting up systematic support for the entire sector, shaping the Creative Vouchers subsidy programme at a national level and providing expert advice to regions.
